What's On

Throughout the year, we run a series of workshops, events and groups, which are designed to educate, teach new skills, and enable people to socialise in a friendly, informal environment.

Throughout the year, we host a wide variety of events, classes, workshops, courses and trips all of which are open to members of CEPL12.

 

Events, classes & courses include;

 

• CV writing skills workshop • Cooking on a budget • Cooking for older men • “Mend and make do” repair skills • Digital inclusion for older people • Interview practice • Board Games Club • Wellbeing Café • Environmental talks • Dementia Voice Drop-in Café • Junk Food Cookery (using surplus food from the Community Fridge)

    We run a Memory Box Cafe every Thursday from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm at the Community Kitchen, 8 Fore Street, PL12 6JL. Anyone who is living with a mild to moderate cognitive impairment or has been affected by one is welcome to come along for a cup of tea and biscuits and chat to our volunteers.
