At Community Enterprises PL12 (CEPL12), we are the heartbeat of Saltash, providing crucial support & services that many in our community depend on every day. From offering a welcoming space to redistributing food, supporting those with dementia, & serving as a hub for local information & resources, our work touches the lives of thousands. CEPL12 is not just a service provider; we are a vital lifeline that helps to keep Saltash thriving.
But now, we need your help to keep our doors open
Why We Need Your Help

Running these services is costly. The Community Kitchen alone requires £1,300 per week to operate, and when you factor in all our services, we need around £2,400 every week to continue providing the support our community relies on. Rising costs and a drop in donations due to the current economic climate have made it increasingly difficult to cover these expenses.
The Impact of Your Donation

Every donation, no matter how small, has a direct impact on our ability to continue our work:
£5 covers petrol costs for a food run to stock the Fridge & Larder for 1 day.
£10 covers the electricity cost to our Community Kitchen for 4 hours.
£15 supports three people at our Memory Box singing group.
Your generosity ensures that Saltash remains a place where everyone has somewhere to turn. Together, we can save our space and change lives.

Our Vital Role in Saltash

Community Enterprises PL12 supports Saltash in many ways:
-
Community Shop: A hub for local information and a platform for small producers to thrive, serving the community for over 13 years.
-
Fridge & Larder: Reducing food waste and addressing food poverty, serving hundreds each month.
-
Community Kitchen: A safe, inclusive space that serves over 500 people each month, providing nourishment and support.
-
Memory Box: Offering crucial support for nearly 100 people each week, especially those affected by dementia.
-
Properties Enterprise: Managing premises that provide essential income and house vital services like Saltash Foodbank and provides space to Citizens Advice Cornwall free of charge (they would not be in Saltash without our help)

We’re launching the SOS: Save Our Space campaign to raise awareness and encourage donations. Whether it's a small contribution at the Fridge & Larder, a donation over tea and cake in the Kitchen, or a direct gift, your support is vital.
Donate online today to help us continue our work. Every penny counts and makes a difference in keeping our essential services running. With your help, we can ensure that Community Enterprises PL12 remains the vital lifeline it has always been for Saltash.
Together, we can keep Saltash thriving.

Volunteers are able to undertake a varied & exciting roles within each of our enterprises. They could be helping at our drop-in cafe, booking and running events, collecting surplus food for our community fridge, driving our community transport, leading singing sessions and more!
