Dementia Voice is a group of people; some living with Dementia, some carers, all of whom have been affected by Dementia in one way or another.
Our aim is to see the PL12 area become Dementia-friendly and to promote that it is possible to live well with this disease.
We run groups where anyone affected by dementia is welcome. Come and find support, information and advice.
Please see below and our main Calendar of Events for more details.
Dementia Voice PL12 welcomes anyone who is affected by dementia in any way to join any of our activities.
We have a Drop-in Cafe every Wednesday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at the Wesley Church, Callington Rd, Saltash, PL12 6LA. This offers a chance to meet with friendly, like-minded people, get information and advice, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and delicious cake.
There is also a Veterans Group every other Saturday from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at the SHADO Centre. Anyone who has served in our Armed Forces, including the Merchant Navy, and is affected by dementia is welcome to come along for a chat and to reminisce over a cup of tea and a snack.
‘Do you mind if I sing?’ takes place at Saltash Wesley Church on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 10.30 am to 12.00 pm. If you enjoy singing and music and are affected by dementia, you are welcome to join us for a fun morning.
There is no charge for the above services, however donations are very welcome to help us to continue to provide them.
